Create your first Scenema project in under fifteen minutes.

Open scenema.ai and sign in with Google or Discord. Your workspace is created automatically on first sign-in, with 500 free credits to try the tool.

2. Pick what you want to make

The intake supports four output types. Pick the one that matches your project.

Explainer video. Long-form narrated video with a single voice. Best for how-to content, documentaries, video essays, and educational pieces. See The 13 Billion Dollar Feature for a canonical example.
Film. Narrative video with dialog between multiple characters. Best for short films, drama, sketches, and story-driven content.
Music video. Video generated to a supplied or generated song, with lip sync on the performer character and pacing aligned to the beats.
Audio. Standalone audio output only, without video. Voiceover, narration, TTS with voice cloning. Powered by the same Scenema Audio voice engine that drives video narration.

3. Type a short prompt

The prompt describes what you want to make. It does not need to be long. A single sentence or short paragraph is enough. Scenema’s treatment agent expands the prompt into a full script.

Example prompt for an explainer:

A dry, data-driven documentary on the financial mechanics of the FIFA World Cup. Focus on ticket prices, broadcast rights, and the disparity between corporate profits and the average worker.

Example prompt for a film:

A four-minute short film about two estranged sisters meeting for coffee for the first time in ten years. Intimate, quiet, ends on a reconciliation.

Example prompt for a music video:

An 80s synthwave music video for a neon-drenched night drive through Tokyo. Solo motorcycle rider, rain-slick streets, glowing signage.

4. Pick a style preset

Style presets control the visual language of your video. Every per-shot prompt inherits the preset’s palette and motif language automatically, so the aesthetic stays consistent across the full runtime.

Built-in presets include Vox Explainer, Engineering Explainer, Cinematic Realism, Historical Drama, Ancient Rome, Anime, Sketch Ghibli, and more. You can also bring your own style by registering a custom reference image.

5. Approve the treatment

Scenema produces a treatment first: concept, palette, motifs, act structure. Review it, edit any part you want to change, and approve. This is your primary creative-direction lever. Everything downstream is derived from the treatment.

6. Generate

Click Generate. Scenema runs the full pipeline: shot list, character reference images, per-shot keyframes, per-shot videos, narration audio, final export. Progress shows per-shot in the timeline.

7. Export

When every shot is green, click Export. You get an mp4. Standalone audio projects export as mp3 or wav.
